Ahhh... su preciosa música!

En las tapas de algunos de sus discos y videoclips apareció por un período su alter ego, la joven actriz y bailarina: Maddie Ziegler. Todo debido a su manifiesto anti fama.

Sia antes de la fama internacional. Cuando no era conocida y prometía mil.

La descubrí con la collab que hizo con Zero 7 back in 2006: Throw It All Away. In those times también pude ver algunos videoclips en vivo y me pareció alucinante ella y su inserción en la música de una de mis bandas más favs por aquél entonces: Zero 7.

Según mis registros musicales en la nube sobre Sia me encendí por segunda vez con su música desde JUL2012 a FEB2019. Luego como con todas las cosas que me apasionan y llaman poderosamente mi atención: desaparecen luego de consumirse intensamente. Lo mismo me pasa con todo y todxs en la vida. Sayonara baby.

Qué pecado no haber hecho esto en los últimos años! Mientras pude durante el encierro duro es cierto que me escribí todo about almost everything. Pero no haber escrito sobre Sia!? 

Whaaat!?

Y eso que CERO niebla mental porque covid nunca ever never de momento -de hecho sigo inmune al virus luego de casi 900 días de pandemia-, cero falopa, cero pucho, cero dormir mal, eso sí: un laburo wow que me permitió el encierro en la cuarentena dura por año y medio y que desde el inicio de la pandemia también me permitió trabajar y florecer como jardinero desde casa. Tal cual estos días de mi vida.

Pero nada de eso justifica el no haber escrito algo sobre Sia, a quien descubrí gracias a Zero 7 que era superfan back in 2004 / 2005 / 2006. Me enamoré perdidamente de Sia @ 2012. Algo antes ya había llamado mi atención con su tercer disco de 2004 {Colour The Small One} con el cual conocí las primeras cancioncitas que me volaron la capocha de su repertoire:

• Breathe Me
• Sunday
• The Bully
• The Church Of What's Happening Now

Todas re muy favs en una época que Zero 7, Muse,  AIR, Buddha Bar & Café del Mar dominaban el soundtrack de mi vida, entre otras músicas del mundo.

Su creatividad, lyrics, su voz, los proyectos de los que formó parte, su forma de actuar on stage bla3 todos aspectos que me atrajeron since start. Sia´s creativity: por años central in my life. Y así fue durante muchos años hasta que la re super pegó con Guetta, vino el éxito y reconocimiento mundial y se diversificó en roles de directora de cine, productora de otrxs artistas y ahí le perdí el rastro.

El caso es que no podría comprenderse mi vida en los años mencionados sin el soundtrack (OST) que me acompañó in those moments. Ser musical 100%. Geminis 1000%!

Recuerdo perfecto cuando descubrí, tarde as usual @ 2019, el album de navidad de Sia. Quedé impregnado / enamorado de una cancioncita tan tan hermosa {Underneath the Christmas Lights} que ahora, revolviendo nuevamente toda su discog, me sigue emocionando. Preciosa.
